 MEDICAL  AND DENTAL SERVICES UNIT 

 MEDICAL AND DENTAL SERVICES

•Provides first aid administration/treatment to any health-related emergencies within the Schools premises 

•Administers first aid medicines for minor ailments/complaints like headache, toothache , fever and menstrual cramps of students and employees

•Performs the following procedures:

  a. Vital signs taking/monitoring (Blood Pressure,

       Pulse Rate, Respiratory Rate, and Temperature ) 
  b. Height and weight Measurements
  c. Removal of wound sutures as per doctor’s order

  d. Cleaning and treatment of minor 

 MEDICAL DENTAL SERVICES UNIT 

• Conducts health information dissemination or health 

   education

• Provides health counseling services

• Conducts health appraisal of old and new students 

• Refers cases to any hospital or any health agency and to  the College Guidance Office as the need arises

 

• Issued Medical Certificate to students- athletes, students with physical disabilities, students, and employee on scholarship

• Conduct health checks for students by the college physician (face-to-face and online)

• Facilitates student’s accident insurance
