DNSC POLICIES ON LEAVE ADMINISTRATION

MANDATORY/FORCED LEAVE (FL)

refers to the requirement for government employees to take a minimum of five (5) working days of vacation leave each year. 

a. Annual five (5) days scheduled leave (mandatory)

b. Should be filed, whenever possible, five (5) days in advance

c. Employees with ten (10) days or more vacation leave shall be required to go on forced leave whether continuous or intermittent.

d. Forced leave shall be forfeited if not taken during the year.

e. However, in cases where the scheduled leave has been cancelled by the Head of Agency or  Immediate Head, the leave not enjoyed shall no longer be deducted from the total accumulated  vacation leave.

• All Plantilla NON-TEACHING Staff
• Designated Faculty (with VL/SL benefits)
